I was cruising on my little boat and there was a sandbar that was deeper than usual so i cut across it. I was almost over it when my boat just quit. It took me 3 seconds of drifting back the way i came (it was a rather fast current) when i could see my prop dug in the sand and not on my motor!!!!! Luckily i was able to paddle home( i wasnt to far from it) I now know shortcuts can ruin a fishing day!!!

Good thing for you it was only sand and didn't have rocks with it.
