Motor in signature. I can find 3 of the 4 air silencer pads for my cowl silencer box. However, I can't find part #307894.

Has anybody had any luck using a stand-in material for the pads? Or, can I cut a larger pad to fit? What material are those pads anyway? Thanks.

If you're speaking of the sound proofing material attached to the inside of the hood, that's simply foam material, found at any fabric type store. It comes in various thicknesses.

I think he's refering to the pads inside the air intake on the bottom cover, port side.

Aratsman.... You're correct of course. I just checked my books, I had forgotten about those silencers.

Yes, the small pads inside the air intake. My motor has port and starboard-side boxes. The 3 pads that I can find aren't too expensive so I'll get them, but I can't find the 4th pad (307894).
