Re: Air Dock Boat Lift

Has anyone used Air Dock inflatable Boat Lifts?? Thanks.

Haven't used one but have seen one.

Our lakes are pretty muddy and a boat left in the water turns ugly quick. The design seems good for raising a sunk boat but I'm not sure I would want my boat wrapped in the slimy water that I'm trying to get my boat out of. There's a reason the inflatables are black - to hide the dirt.

Do you have a u-slip or some other dock configuration that would allow you to use a conventional cable or floating lift?

Thanks for the info. Never thought about that but the lake I have my boat in is really clean and don't think it would be a problem. havn't made a decision yet and an over head hoist is on the list.....thanks again.

Re: Air Dock Boat Lift

Sonny,

There is no standing, or puddling water between the material and the hull. It all gets pushed out as the air goes in. We have sold thousands of our lifts over the last 11 years and no one has ever complained about growth on the hull. And the reason they are black is because the black color pigment comes from carbon which is very stable in UV sunlight. Also black blends in with the water and it looks very unobtrusive. Our lifts have been used on some of the filthiest lakes around and they still keep the boat nothing but clean. Most people I know don't really want a boat lift - they just want a clean boat!!

Happy Boating,
