Hmmmm here we go with the Bible and God thing again. I thought we came to an understanding on this subject in the other post.

Folks we are a product of science by natural selection not fantasy. When your son or daughter get sick, do you take him to the hospital or to a temple, maybe to church, perhaps a mosque?

So what was the subject of this thread? Ooo yea something about AA Radio. If I knew what station, I would give it a shot.

Re: Air America, any listeners?

This is probably not a post to mention Rush Limbaugh, but to day he was talking about the ratings of Air America. Seems that they wheedled their way onto Armed Forces Radio, under the typical Liberal guise of 'fairness and balance'. Guess what, their audience is so small it barely registers on the rating radar.

Their ratings in the non-military world are not much better. Seems like they are having to beg for financial support lest they get booted off the air. :D

Don't know what your exposure was GQ, but my God encouraged us to use the talents that he gave us, albiet maybe supplemented by a little prayer, but none the less, go with what was given.

Why beg when you can steal from a boys and girls club. Liberals fippin their wigs over what GM's CEO makes for 10-12hr a day work schedule, while the hate monger knocks down a million for three hours a day and providing ratings that can't support even their flagship station.

http://www.nysun.com/article/28658

IT'S ALL A LIE......... Boomyal, first let me say; I respect all religious faith, but take this into account. Religion was created at a time when man was, can I say illiterate? Any unexplainable natural disasters were seen as the work of God or Satan. Furthermore religions has been used as a tool to kill countless innocent lives. Does Salem Massachusetts around the late 1800's ring a bell?

The underlaying foundation of all religious doctrines are suppose to promote peace and hominy among creatures on Earth. Ironically, if you flip a page back into history this is not the case. Religions has been direct or indirectly involved in most of the world conflicts (war). As long as we separate ourselves into religious groups, it's only a matter of time before someone say, "My God is better than your God". And so the two armies go to war.

Can you envision a World without religion?

All the same could be said of politics GQ. Does that mean we should cast all politics out the window? Give me a break. All manner of good things have been used for ill. That includes the formation of this country where 'all men were created equal'. Does that mean we should cast out the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, just because good, practical, fundemental ideas were misused by imperfect men? You're going to have to come up with a better arguement than that!!

You are correct about politics, but the very idea is used to control the mass for the good of the many. The population in which politically boundaries are defined to keep one or many members of society from infringing on others. Sometime it's right, sometime it's wrong. Flip a coin; head or tail is all to it. If this intention is true for all religions then I've proved my point.

The bottom line is I don't have a problem with any religious doctrines. However I do object to religious folks trying to force feed the rest of us with their belief by making their opinions into laws. Hint the latest, "ID". We all have opinions. I certainly do. I think the speed limit on freeways here in California should be upped to 75 mph. I think post paddlers should be banded from posting for two days. I think post count should be eliminated to preserve "bandwidth" and make room for more jokes. I think the Chicks are hot and I voted for Mary Carie in the California Governor Race awhile back. These are my "OPINIONS". The difference is that I don't ask my "OPINIONS" be made into laws.

Back to the AA Radio. What station is it on?

Pointer what are you blabbing about over there? Is that a general statement or are you seeking a rebuttal from me? I do recall me busting your bubble on the GM subject awhile back.

Keep debating and one of us is fixin to learn something new. Probably me. I appreciate your contribution to my knowledge. Thank you for your support. I really do.

OOPs what station is it on again anyone?

Can't say for the Socialist Republic of So Cal, but in the Peoples Republic of Portland OR, it is on 620 on your AM dial.

Be down between San Diego and LA the end of the week. I problably won't spend much time looking for Air America however. I'll be too busy laughing at the 5000$ property tax bills on all those 20K$ common folk homes. :p

Ola, my west coast friend. Just cuz I post behind you doesn't mean I am running it past you. I'll let you know when I do. These posts are just thoughts popping up but to bring all of our comrades here up to speed regarding that bastion of journalism......... It's a general free consumption post.

http://radioequalizer.blogspot.com/2006/01/did-al-frankens-outrageous-demands.html

There is big bucks in small ratings, theft and liberal radio.

Remember, don't trust anyone over 30. ;)

Re: Air America, any listeners?

AA is 1150 down here GQ. As I mentioned, I have listened. Made a little mini-project out of it. You should too. I am curious, even if they speak things that you agree with, if you will find them coherent. I didn't. I use coherent to mean that they find some way to align their messages, something approaching consistency. I don't hear it. What I heard is all sloganese, anti-Bush, buzz phrasing, mantra chanting. I found it hard to imagine as marketable.

I once believed that the possibility of a creator was silly. "How could the rest of you fall for that?" I now know that at least as much faith is required to believe that all of this poofed out of nothing from nowhere. Which is the grand sum total explanation provided by the science that you, in fact, preach ;)

It looks like Funjumper and Gafteci have paid us a visit from the Democratic Underground. That place is a real hotbed of disgruntled democrats.
