It's always good to find aftermarket parts since originals are hard to find and expensive.
I got this epoxy filled coil on ebay for $23.75. The title said "Blaster Ignition Blaster SS Coil High Voltage -40,000V Male E-Core Square Epoxy" So far it is working just fine. I bought 2 just in case. It should be an easy swap if it fails. You just have to drill out the one hole so the screw will fit. My motor is a 1974 135hp. You also have to put a new end on the coil secondary wire. I replaced all the wires so it was no problem.

These old ignition systems are pretty forgiving when it comes to swaping stuff like coils. That's one of the reasons I like em. I had an old 100hp johnson at one point that was running a completely home made ignition with a car coil. Who ever did it got it to work reall nice aside from it eating points pretty quick
