I find myself with a 74 rude 40 horse that runs perfect with all the controls and wiring, I'm looking at building a mini speed boat that will seat two. Any of you folks know of a small hull that will take this motor? Looking for something in the 10 to 12 foot range. Thanks

Not sure where you live, but I found this on CL, in Florida $400 bucks.

Here is a 10 foot Cougar Cub tunnel with a 50 on it. It was originally made for class racing with a merc 25 and the 50 is just a little heavy. Additionally, while it can fit two, it really only has capacity for 1 person. While it only tops out at 45 MPH, it feels like 100 and is a fun Sunday ride.

Why don't you try over at screamandfly? They probably have scads for sale and kit boats too.

There are a few goofy looking ones on there but for the price I think I may reconsider! Go fast for cheap? I'M IN!!!!
