Making your wallet a little lighter, cutting holes in your boat and probably, a 6 pack of beer!
Its pretty simple to do and if you have a hole cutter for a drill to cut a hole for the gage, you have the biggest part done! Run the wires, hook things up, mount the gage. Its easy.
