Have 1972 Johnson 125ESL72 and want to add a lanyard kill switch. Have a universal kill switch and need to know what wires to interrupt in the remote control wiring.
That would be the purple wire that leads back through the main cable to the motor. Breaking that circuit stops the power to the pulse pack and the motor stops.
