Adding back lighting to a switch panel

Has anyone ever added back lighting to the Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck® 12V DC Waterproof Switch Panel - 8 Position #4309 panel. Its listed as a switch panel only and it comes prewired but I would like to make the labels light up at night

Haven’t been able to do a write up but what I did was drill some small holes for 3mm LEDs above the switches and used part of the plastic packaging from the switch box and mounted some 10mm LEDs in that to light up the labels.
