adding a tower to my 2007 glastron mx175 boat

hey i have a 2007 glastron mx175 boat and at the dealer were i bought it they told me the hull wasnt strong enough to install a wake board tower on this model of boat.is there any one out there that has.if so can you reply on here.

A tower is offered on the GT185 according to my brochure. It's my understanding they are the same hull. Maybe it needs to be installed during hull assembly; I don't know.

probably has to do with backing in mounting stops.

if its a glass boat......ANYTHING CAN BE DONE !

however, most likely, it will void your hull warranty....if you still want to do it .....check into the resto section......heh heh heh we'll walk you thru it.....

by the way.....would you also like the boat with a little more beam and freeboard

Did you add the tower ? I have a mx175 and would like to add a tower to it. If you did, how do you install the tower backing plates with the boats interior wall being solid ?
