I have seen a morized boat with steering that also had a sail. Is it possible to add a sail to a motorized boat? Is it safe to do so?
Im in the research stage. Its the only motorized boat Ive seen with a sail. So curiousity got me. And it is exactly what I was looking for. WIth the small cabin and all. I ust cant find another like it. Sadly, not ready to buy. Gotta finish school first.
The best way to describe it is a motor boat you would see on a lake. Similar to an Agua Sport boat. Just add a sail to it. Im sorry. Best I can describe it.

Trawlers often had a "balance" sail. It was not meant to power them, just to act as a stabilizer.

The MacGregor 26 is an American trailerable sailboat, that was designed by Roger MacGregor and first built in 1986, with production ending in 2013.[1][2]

The boat was built by MacGregor Yacht Corporation in the United States.[1]

The design was developed into the Tattoo 26, which remains in production by Tattoo Yachts.[1]
