We make check lists ourselves for our boat and RV, pre and post boarding. Heck these days, I make check list for feeding the dog and giving him his treat. Truth is, our minds are usually occupied by so many things that a check list is truly necessary.

LOL I do like to hear all the BLUNDERS ppl make while trying to launch their boats. I to must confess to some of them as well :redface: But oh well ppl thats how we all learn NOT to make them again (I'd like to think not!!) Happy sailing all

When we first bought the boat, I made a checklist and put it in my I-Phone. I used to force myself to look at it each time before I left the house for the lake, before I launched and after I retrieved. But, now after 14 months of weekly uses and following the exact same routines in the driveway and at the launch each trip, I only need to refer to the list IF my routine is some how interrupted. And, knock wood, I have yet to forget anything (of course you know what will happen this weekend now!). Anyway, guess what I am saying is - follow the same routine each time and it becomes second nature. Good luck to all (especially to me this weekend now!).
