Main fuse under motor cow blew after skiing 30 minutes, replaced it, fuse blew again, put fuse of a little higher amp in it and after trying to start motor everything started working and proceeded to the boat dock and main fuse blew again. Loaded on trailer and got home--replaced main fuse --traced all purple ignition wires for short and they were good and now everything is working. Will start--wonder if rectifier and regulator could after a period of time of heat cause the main fuse to blow under cow?

Try moving the main harness back and forth where it goes though the lower pan, make sure you move it up/down/side to side.

That fuse is designed to run the engine only. Make sure that you don't have a radio, bilge pump, lights, etc. wired through your control box. The only exception is that you can run a tach off the control box voltage.
