Re: A NEW Moderator (AKA Prisoner now has keys to the Kingdom)

Didn't we start a thread that broke all the forum rules when Bond-o became a Mod just so he could get his first "closed" thread under his belt??? Kinda like a member initiation. :D

Hey, that's right! Art, why don't you reopen that powerloading thread over in Trailers and Towing so we can get your tenure started off right?

NOTE: Coop, I've got my eyes on you and Musky. aspeck

Re: A NEW Moderator (AKA Prisoner) now has keys to the Kingdom)

Since it is an election year, maybe we could ask Messrs. Obama and Romney to come in and post their official platform positions on synthetic vs conventional oil, power-loading (per lncoop's suggestion :)) , I/O v. O/B v. I/B., 4-stroke v. 2-stroke, and .... rivets....and also post a link to their websites looking for campaign contributions.
That should stir it up.

Art will be a grizzled veteran before he knows it. :D

If it takes getting bitten by a snake to become a moderator... you can leave my name out of the discussion.

Darn, another new mod I'll have to brown nose!!:D

Hello from a newbie! My name is Billybenthook

I couldn't figure out how to join so after fumbling around for a while some guy named Deck Swabber said he'd help me out. He's not going to get in trouble is he?

Which oil should I buy?

What is the best motor?

I heard Pennzoil is no good?

Should I add stabil to my gas?

I heard ethanol is no good, what do you think?

I haven't actually bought a boat yet, what kind should I buy?

Should I look on craigslist?

How much does a boat cost?

Do I have to spend money on maintenance?

How much will it cost?

Since your a moderator I just know you'll steer me in the right direction. :)

Which oil should I buy? Whatever is cheapest.

What is the best motor? One that runs.

I heard Pennzoil is no good? Yes or no, depends.

Should I add stabil to my gas? If you need to.

I heard ethanol is no good, what do you think? Yes

I haven't actually bought a boat yet, what kind should I buy? Whatever you can afford

Should I look on craigslist? If you want ... Some really funny stuff there, and lots of foreigners that want to buy your stuff who have their own shipping agents ....

How much does a boat cost?anywhere from $100-$650,000,000, give or take a few dollars.

Do I have to spend money on maintenance? Only if you want to ... Might help your boat last longer.

How much will it cost? More than you want to spend.

Since your a moderator I just know you'll steer me in the right direction. :)

Hope these answers helped you, Billy. If not, ask Swabbie, he is an expert.

This new gig is cool. They showed me around and then gave me a bucket and mop as we were entering the washroom ... Told me to take my time and do a good job.

Mops do not mix very well with computers. I think when they were talking about mopping things up in your training, they were talking about the use of the delete key... Congrats Art!

Yea, even several years before you got here it used to rock. I should visit more often than I do. I'm so busy now it's ridiculous. I went fishing last weekend for the first time in over a year.

Aspeck as mod? I find it interesting that he made mod here. Not that he would do a bad job, but I figured he was always one of the "dark side" members.

Oh well, such is life. I know I'd never be asked, I've had way too many run ins with the grey haired gorilla.

All jokes aside, Art (may I call you that)? I can't think of any other long time lurker here who is more well deserved with the honor of trying to keep this ship of fools in line.

Best wishes and GOOD LUCK. :D
