A chesapeake or a potomac??

This is my first time on the Lone Star forum, so hello to
everyone, it is also the first time I will try to post pictures.
I bought this boat in 1967 and had to sell it in 1970,I don`t
remember if it was a CHESAPEAKE or a POTOMAC both names
are familiar, it was a 18ft. runabout with a one piece curved
windshield, had only 2 seats and the front of the bow hatch
was rounded, it had a box about 18 inches square, with a
removable lid on each side just in front of the engine well,
and were used as seats also. The boat had a 6cyl. 70hp.
MERCURY engine and would do 33mph. at 6000rpm. and pull
3 adult water skiers. It was a very smooth riding boat and
no one ever got wet. I would love to have one now, say with
maybe a 100hp. Can anyone say what year & model it is ?`

How do I post pictures?????...........HAS sometimes I get lucky, I just found out that the 70hp. 6cyl. Mercury engine on my boat was a 1962, the 1960 70hp. 6cyl. was a direct drive,(to back up the engine was stoped and restarted to run in the opposite direction). the 1961 70hp. 6cyl. had the MERCURY name above the black band. The 1962 70hp. 6cyl. had the MERCURY name in the center of the black band.
I think the the boat must have been a 1962 also, still don`t know what model the boat was............HAS

I found out that the boat in the pictures that I had backb in the late 1960s was a LONE STAR POTOMAC.............HAS
P/S I THINK THE BOAT AND MOTOR BOTH WERE 1962
