My Canadian friend and others gathered for our annual Bahama dinner party and gabbing about many subjects the other nite and our discussion turned to one subject that many have discussed recently, agreed with his American counter parts. In our discussion he wished that he had, what we already have,"Ummm."

Re: A Canadian Friend

My home town is Saint John, New Brunswick. That is about an hour and a half from Calais Maine. On pay day I use to drive there to buy our groceries, beer, cigarettes(I've quit smoking since), gas up the car, and do some shopping. We saved a ton of money by doing so. Even with the exchange rate and duties. If I lived there now, I would do the same thing. I guess that's why I do all my shopping online from the states. Sorry fellow Canucks. I guess that's one reason I think he said that. I could go on and on but I won't. Except to say my wife has been in Florida and Alabama and loves the choices of restaurants and the low cost to eat there. And of course the beautiful weather.

I'm a Canadian and I sometimes whine and snivel about my country but when it comes down to it, there's no other place I would want to live.

Especially British Columbia! .........Except maybe the lower mainland. ;)

I agree...but...if I never saw another snow flake for the rest of my life, I would not miss it.

Canada is a nice place. I had fly fished many times there for atlantic salmon, people of Canada are very nice. My friend who recently had a charcoal chicken rotissere in Montreal is one of the finest Canadians you would ever meet.

I am a Canadian ,I live and fish in B.C. One day I am on the lake and the next playing with the springs in the Ocean. There is nothing better than being able to fish all day long and drink all night long. The scenoria doesnt get any better.
Coming in from a nice leasurely day in the ocean and giving the naked girls at ( Wreck beach) a wave.
NOTHING BETTER.
