Just Bought A New Boat With A 99 Johnson 200hp Ocean Runner. The Boat Has A 134 Gallon Plastic Tank That Is More Than Half Full.boat Has Been Sitting Since 2005. Theres About 70gallons In It.should I Pump Out This Gas Or Use It. I Dont Know If I Should Mix This Will Newer Gas. I Havent Started The Motor Up Yet. Thats Alot Of Gas To Waste.

thats a hard call...depends on if any additive was in fuel, you could try running some of the gas in your lawn mower, if it runs ok, maybe add a gallon of Sea Foam and some fresh gas, also maybe some water evaporator like Isopopyl.

no call at all, pump it out, flush out all hoses,and dispose of properly. adding new fuel to it will only contaminate the new fuel. borrow/buy a portable tank to use until then.
