I must have read that sticky on engine alignment 30 times before I aligned my engine. I'm not real sure I hit the alignment bar hard enough when I set the gimbal bearing. So my question is..if I had to raise the mounts up two full turns on a 99 model does that seem excessive? Like I didn't have my bearing set properly? I'm kind of second guessing myself. At first the alignment tool was a little tough to get all the way in. I adjusted the mounts 1/2 turn at a time until I was able to bottom it out with two fingers. Super smooth. I did not rotate the engine over and recheck. But it was up 2 complete turns to get it there. Which can't be more that 1/8 inch. Does that seem reasonable? It's my first time and I want to be right. How likely is it that the gimbal bearing was in the wrong position? When the drive came off it was really easy. Maybe needed just a little tug but that's it. Like it slid right through the bearing. So I can't see it moving the bearing.

I'm a newbie and looking for a little advice.
Thank you
