Yeah but that does not verify that the transfer case is working properly it just verifys that the hubs are working right?

It verifies that the transfer case has locked in the front driveshaft. If it is not in 4wd at the transfer case then when you turn one wheel while holding the other, the wheel will turn and so will the driveshaft. If it is in 4wd at the TC and the wheel turns and nothing else turns then the hub is not locked in.

In 2 wheel drive mine will spin the rear tires at will. In 4 wheel high it won't. ;) ;)
