98 Ocean Pro 150 - cracks?

998 Ocean Pro 159 - V6. Fairly new to me. Runs great. While wiping down engine, I noticed the cracks shown in pictures. Port side, right below the red plastic piece. No water or oil coming from it very clean in crack - can see silver metal (in tact) in cracks. Any issue, should I fill with jb weld, etc?

Agreed , some years the paint was laid on very thick and the paint is cracking.

Sometimes a powerhead overheat can affect paint adhesion. As long as your compression is OK, you should be fine.
