I have a 1997 Four Winns Horizon RS. The boat has two pedestal seats that are screwed directly into the deck.
When I purchased the boat, the seat screws had worked loose and eventually tore out the hole of several screws. I read up on the garelick toggler bolts and attempted to use those. Big fail as I hit what I assume are some supports underneath and couldn't get the toggles to grab (plus the foam was a nightmare to mess around with) I ended up sealing the holes with 4200 (which are hidden under the pedestal), rotating the seat pedestal, drilling new holes and screwing the seat in.
That is where I currently stand but as I was installing it, I'm not so sure all the screws hit whatever support plate is under the seat. I really don't want to mess with it at this point but wanted to ask if anyone knows what four winns was doing under the deck below these seats? Couple of pics below.
