I have a 97 Evenrude that will run like a champ from anywhere between 10 min, and 4 hours then loses power and put's the motor in idle mode. I can throddle the motor back down and work it back up to full rmp's. The motor will run great for a few minutes, then it all starts over again. The rmp range that this is happening in is 4000+, and the motor idles back to 2000 to 2500. It will troll all day long w/o missing a beat. I've replaces power pack, fuel pump, heat sensor, had carbs gone thru, removed the vent screw from the gas tank, and fuel lines. I've also put in new plugs and a new fuel filter. Any help would be very much appreciated.
