This is my first Mercury so bear with me.
SN is 0G449063 model is C40MLA 1997. Just bought it, runs great, etc. Previous owner said he never replaced water pump or impeller so I'm looking up parts using that model number and I get THIS parts list. Two obvious differences are the carbs (square bowl) and the tiller handle is very different and some other things. Pretty sure it's a different outboard.
So I did a search by the part number on my carburetors (3330-830281-C) WMA 1 and I get THIS parts list which looks much better but it is for a 40 hp Mariner. Is this the right parts list? I guess I could just pull the lower unit and match up the water pump that way.
