96 Four Winns Horizion bungee hook?

[hillaholic]

96 Four Winns Horizon 240. Just bought this boat and was wondering if anybody knows what this bungee hook is for, behind the swim platform grab handle.

Bungee hook? I'm sorry but I don't see what you are talking about.

You don't mean the hole left behind from what appeared to be a mooring cover snap which fell out that a PO replaced with a screw too small in diameter so it was packed with epoxy?

On my boat, it is to secure the cover for the boat.

Yup, to secure the factory cockpit cover. There were bungee loops off the rear of the cover that would attach to the "knobs" to secure the back edge.

Okay thanks. It must have a non stock cover now.
