96 115 crossflow flywheel endplay

I put a dial indicator on my flywheel to measure the side to side movement, and got a measurement of .0010 to .0012. Any idea on if this is acceptable? There was no decernable up and down movement.<br /><br />Thanks Van

There is no problem there, put that dial indicator away before you scare yourself.

what R.Johnson says <br /> but there is no good spec other than bearing size and journal size and the tolerance then do some math.
