95 stingray 556zp won't start

I have a 95 stingray 556zp that I have had out three times this year with out a problem this past sat I had it out all day and toward the end of the day to head back it would start I go to start it and it cranks but won't turn over got a tow back charged the battery and tried it again same thing it just won't turn over anyone have any ideas at to what might be wrong it would be great I have replaced the spark plugs

First: Why did you replace the plugs? You had no problems before. You think all the plugs just up and quit on you at once? Do you know how to tell if the plugs are even firing?

It's possible you have a clogged fuel filter. Many things are possible, but you have to work the easy/common stuff first.

Also, how long was the fuel in the tank?

So, EVERYTHING was normal right up until the time you decided you were heading home, and then... suddenly... it cranked but wouldn't fire?

ALSO: Please punctuate and capitalize. It's hard to make out exactly what you are trying to say. If my boat didn't start, I'd be clear, include as much info as possible, and make sure it was presented in a way that could be read and understood.

It's a mericruiser 3.0L gas is all new within the last month. Yes it worked great the weekend before, and all that day until then. It starts but doesn't fire at all, it's acting like the kill switch is on. I also don't think it's a gas flow issue I smell it as I'm trying to start it.

It starts but doesn't fire at all,

If it "Starts" then it's firing

Now if you mean the engine turns over with the starter, but the engine doesn't start, then that is a different story.

Have you checked to see if it has spark coming from the coil?

Ok it cranks with the starter but it doesn't fire. No I have checked that what would be the best way to check if it's getting a spark.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard Keith,... It appears you're already in Over your head...

Pull the Hi-tension lead out of the center of the distributer,+ hold it near ground, you should get a Spark of a 1/2" or so...
