95 Merc 115 problem

Just bought. Cranks, runs, planes fine first 30 minutes then after idling a few minutes will not generate rpms to plane. Ignition not missing or idling rough. Primer bulb becomes slack immediately. When primer bulb squeezed engine dies and raw gas coming out of exhaust. Will crank again after waiting a few minutes but still will not generate rpms to plane. Got any ideas?

No expert on this thing but what kind of fuel system is hooked to engine - do you have external permanent filter in boat off a built in tank or is it running off a portable tank? There are two filters in engine for fuel - it almost sounds like partially restricted fuel lines, somewhere probably away from engine and trash is falling off filter when engine dies.
Does it seem to be running hot when it dies, or good flow of water from telltale and engine cool?
Do you seem to be feeding oil into gas - level going down in oil tank?
