1) does a starter solenoid have positive and negative terminals or can it go either way if there is a positive terminal haw do you know which is which?<br /><br />2) i have the cimander 3000 control box can I disconnect tha kill switch if yes how?
Boats like most autos are negative ground so the terminal on the starter will be positive. And you can bypass the kill switch but it's there for your safety. Many folks have been throw from there boat only to have it come back at them. the kill switch when used properly is designed to shut the motor off if the driver is throw from the seat.
