95 20 HP Mariner

I purchased a carb kit and manual for this motor, I have installed the kit per Manual it now runs great but only for a minute then quits if We squeeze the Bulb it will start again but only runs about a minute.
I have replaced the bulb and line making sure the arrow on the bulb points to the motor no difference.
Could I have done something wrong on the carb rebuild? Or is there somthing else I should check.

Sounds like the float is stuck.

Well guys here I am shame faced but Victorious.
I chased my tail for quite some time before finding the problem.
It seems that when I rebuilt the Carb I replaced the Carb. base gasket with one of the two to choose from I used the one that most closely resembled the original, when I decided the fuel pump just was not working I started looking for the Vacuum sorce and sure enough the gasket I used had a straight hole which lined up with the hole in the Carb. perfectly what I had not realized was the hole that supplies the vacuum in the motor did not which is why the original had an oval shaped hole in it.
