94 Johnson 9.9 Battery Cable

Thanks Outboard Jim for the info. Now, there are two large wire terminals on the solenoid, both red. One goes to the starter and one goes to the " I don't know what that is" rectifier maybe??<br />Which one of these do I hook the positive battery cable to ???<br />Just want to do it right, and Jim, I'm getting a service manual for sure.<br />Thanks All,<br />Chet

Chet...correct. The terminal you hook the battery to should also have a wire going to the output of the rectifier.<br /><br />Chet, could you keep your posts' together please. Easier to find when we follow up AND you keep in the good graces of the Moderators.<br /><br />Thanks a bunch.
