94 Force 50hp Carb Spitting at WOT

I have a 94 Force 50hp that starts spitting fuel out of the left vent hole in the carb when at WOT. Can this be caused by a sticky needle valve or a misadjusted float? Is there any way that I can fix this without rebuilding the carb? It runs great up to about 3/4 throttle. Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated as all the Mechs are booked and Salmon are in the river.

This is probably a stretch but:: You could try running the carb almost out of fuel.then tap carefully on the carb near where fuel line goes in.if there is something caught
in the float valve it might come out.
Also a stretch put some carb treatment in the gas it might loosen any gummyness in the float area.
wouldn't hurt to tap carefully on the carb when its leaking too.
Unfortunately a rebuild is probably the only solution.
This has probably worked temporarily for me about 10% of the time.

Also, when you have the carb off, do a visual inspection of the reed valves.
