If I'm hitting on a topic that has been already discussed, I apologize, but couldn't find info I was looking for. Here is my problem...Went fishing the other day and motor ran like a bat out of hell. When cranked up the motor to relocate to different spot, motor acted like it wasn't getting fuel and just bogged down. I have no idea what the rpms were as I don't have rpm gauges. Had to limp boat to the ramp at 6ish miles an hour as compared to my normal 33mph (according to gps). Things I have done...bought new fuel tank, lines fittings and bulb, new gas (non-ethanol), checked compression...150lbs on each cylinder. Ordered carb rebuild kits. Is it sounding like I'm heading in the right direction? Are there other avenues I need to be looking at as well?

Have you checked the spark? Is it firing on both cylinders? It is most often the carbs but it is wise to check spark too.

Well, it looks like you are on the right track with the carb kits. You have already done all the other things I would have suggested.
