94 15hp 2 cylinder fire

Was not getting fire to top spark plug after motor warmed up. Changed coil out and same thing happened. I then flip flopped the wires from the CDI going to the coil and then i got fire on the top spark plug. I now know i have one wire coming from the CDI that is breaking down when the motor gets warm. I don't have any fancy test equipment so do any of you folks think the CDI is malfunctioning and that is my bad part? Thanks

By the way you described it, you have a defective power pack.

I replaced to power pack (CDI) today and man i have spark to spare to both plugs. The motor started the first turn of the key and runs strong. Thanks to you folks for all your help.
