1993 Merc 75 hp. I stored my boat for the winter with motor trimmed down. Marina mechanic warned me that trim motor was on its last legs. This spring I tried to raise and trim is not working, so I tried to raise manually by loosening plug for hydraulic system on left side of motor. This worked last year. However, I removed plug completely and motor will still not lift at all- like something in hydraulic system is still plugged? When removed completely the plug appears to be hollow rather than a solid piece. Looked inside open hole and there is no apparent blockage, but no hydraulic fluid visible either. Any suggestions? I can't tow the boat anywhere unless I get the motor tilted up.
