93 johnson 60 H.p. cold start problem?

When I start the engine cold, it seems to run on 1 or 2 cylinders for 5 to 10 minutes, then it kicks in and runs perfect. I was wondering what might be causing this. Could it be a bad power pack? or maybe could the SLOW system be activated? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot from a new member !

I just was having the same problem and verified it was only firing on certain cylinders with a timing light, and after a few seconds they would start to fire and it would run good. so I replaced the power pack and all is good now, not saying your having the exact same problem but it does sound close.
