Motor ran OK last week, now won't start. Fuel is good, carbs are full, primer works, compression good (110and115 psi),spark looks weak(new plugs). Is there a better way to test the spark other than just looking at a plug held against the head ? What would be a likely cause of weak spark? Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks Jeff

im not sure but you can either ohm out you coil packs and see it they are at spec or go to cdi electronics and follow the trouble shooting guide on how to ohm out your stator.

Jeff why did you start another thread on your same question. You now have a duplicate post. I am not a mod but when they find it they will let you know. Did you not get the answer that you were looking for? If you don't think that it received enough attentions then reply to it yourself and just type bump and it will bring it back to the top of the list.

Sorry I posted twice-accident-not too familiar with forums and computers. I will check coil resistance as suggested, but would really like a better spark test. Jeff
