92' 60 HP Evinrude Dies on Shifting Forward

My 60 hp idles but dies when shifting to forward. I rebuilt the carbs, new fuel hoses, tried aux fuel tank all with no help. Suspect a leak somewhere.
Need some tips.

what's you idle rpm. must be set in the water, in gear 650-700 rpms. it will idle higher in neutral and on muffs in the drive.
