Well, I am in the middle of re-doing my 1991 599 Stingray and, suprise, I have more stuff to replace. Luckly after I pulled the gimbal housing out to replace some deteroiated studs I found my transom to be in good condition, so that is a plus. Anyways, onto the problem at hand. While removing the engine I noticed that the engine mounts have seen better days. After researching them, I found that they are the old "Fluid" filled mount design. My question is, can I use the "DF-216" style mounts with the 3/4" stud to replace my old fluid filled ones, or is there a better replacment out there?
