If well taken care of, are the mid 90's Master Craft's good boats? We are looking for a bow rider or ski boat for the family to pull a tube around. Bow riders in the 10-15k range are selling before we can even get a chance to see them. There has been several Master Craft's that look great & have been going for about 12-15k. Is the different out drive system they use reliable?

Mastercraft from the mid 90's are good ski boats and fun to take a family in. They will retain the value you pay for them well if you maintain them. They are direct drive inboards which is a very simple drive system and does not require much maintenance. Remember though that you are looking at old boats so nothing is likely perfect.
They are very low and have a quite flat bottom so rough water is particularly uncomfortable and should be avoided.
