90hp Honda motor ID???

I have just bought 2 90hp outboards, and I am looking to find ut what year they are. here are the nubersBF90A , BBBU1000743. By my calculations they should be 1997. Is this seem correct???

The model number for that engine is a BF90AT which is a 1997 model. It was originally purchased 7/21/1996 by someone in PA.
