We bought a pontoon with a 1990 Mariner engine. 45 hp.
Someone had butchered the harness (not me I swear)
They also converted it so it's not oil injection.

Now here's my problem.

I've been going through and rerunning all the wires.

The ignition (purple form the key) wire goes in and just ends now. The splice they had in there broke and I'm not sure where this wire goes.

I've looked at repair manuals and none show a 45hp mariner (40 and 50 are common)

The engine was running before I decided to clean things up.

Where does this purple wire go?

Purple from the switch went to power the auto blend which is gone (Thank God)

Awesome. After tinkering, I found it's either fuel or bad plugs.
It's sad that I didn't check for the basics. This modern world has ruined me.
