Well the wife and I have been married for about 2.5yrs. and due to our job responsiblities we have not had a protracted vacation together. 3-4day extended weekends but nothing approaching this. My job has been nuts the past year or so with new product introductions, so I have been hesitant to take any time off, even though I have about 4 weeks a year I can take. (Last year a total of 6 or 7 days)
Well next week she is on spring break and I took the week. Going to Door County for about half of the time and the rest just taking it easy around the house. Got a great little bed and breakfast right on lake michigan in Baileys Harbor for 3 nights. Probably stop in on my parents for a night as well as they live along the way up.
Not the best time of year weather wise, but any time together will be a great time. We leave tommorrow. Hot samn dam.
