9.9 Mercury prop nut...

Got both motors ready and all ready to go out to tomorrow and I can't fund the prop nut for my 9.9 kicker. Can I get one at the hardware store is is it a special mercury part?

It's best to try and find a brass propeller nut. You should be able to find one at just about any local marine store. The part number your looking for is 11-40140 or 11-13914. If you can't find one in time, here is the size you'll need. Mercury Mariner 5-15 HP outboards using a Brass prop nut with M10x1.5 threads and nylon insert.
