9.9 4 stroke...choke no workie????????

Hello everyone,

I have a customer with a 9.9 Mariner 4 stroke. It's a 1997 motor.
Won't start cold, runs great warm. The enriching solenoid is not working. We replaced the solenoid and that was not the problem. No one in the area has a manual so we can't look at a wiring diagram.
Anyone seen this problem before or can provide a wiring manual???
There must be some sort of timer so the solenoid keeps enriching till the engine warms up.
