Hello , new here and in a jam. Any help with sourcing parts or help from experienced Yamaha owners/ mechanics of this type of sterndrive would be appreciated. These parts I know are obsolete. My main concern is finding a good outdrive bellow that will work or a source for new one. The gasket would be a bonus but at this point it looks like I'll be re using the old one. The gimbel bearing actually seems fine after pulling it without any trouble. That I can most likely find by going to a bearing supplier. Thank you

This is my post, my topic , and im trying to reach out to specific boat owners that could possibly help me with my boat. If I can't do that then there's no point of being here.

I was referring to the 2 other posts you made in old topics.

There is only one member here that has any knowledge of them and he can be quite busy.. Can't post links to other retailers but a place in NY claims to have the biggest inventory of Yamaha stern drive parts in the USA. A google search will find them.

If you ever decide to swap out drives to a Merc or Volvo, we can help figure that one out

Yes I know, topics that I'm interested in with people with the same problem. The chances of them even seeing the posts are slim to none so I'm not sure why this is an issue? The parts are obsolete, so there is not many members here that can offer any advice, I reached out to a couple that might possibly have some feed back if they ever log back in and apparently I'm doing something wrong. If I bothered someone then I can understand why you message me. If you have some advice on how to navigate through your site so that I can get the best results on this topic that would be appreciated.

Thank you I will look into this. I'm guessing you can't tell me who this member is either ? The boat worked really great and i was told how reliable sterndrive is, how it has more grease fittings then other makes out there , so for now I'm trying to avoid converting it when all I really need is a bellow.

In the future I will just send a pm, they can respond if they wish to or not. Hopefully that's ok ? I didn't even try contacting him because it seemed to me from one of his posts that his knowledge was mostly with yamaha outboards ,nothing over 20 years and getting out of the business, but perhaps he knows what bellow , so thank you I will ask him and buy one from him if he has one.

I couldn't remember which Ken knew about it the stern drives. That's why I didn't say a member name. But Bondo knew. When Yamaha stern drive issues come up, he is really the only source
