89 Ranger 680T Questions

I am considering buying one in average shape from a friend. It has a 50 Merc on it, 2 avg. locators and trolling motor. Guesses on value? Anyone know what the top speed might be? (he only used it 3 times in the 2 years he owned it and can't remember how fast it goes) It doesn't have a built-in gas tank, is it possible to put one in?

Welcome to iboats

The 680T is a great fishing boat. I would guess it will go about 25-30 mph with a 50 on it. A built in fuel tank could be added but you will have to sacrifice some seating space.

I have no idea on value for it. Depends on condition, maintenance and where you are located......... some places cheap and some worth more money.

Like was stated above, there are a lot of variables.

If you don't buy it I would be interested in it. Been looking for one. Where are you located?
