89 Force 125hp flywheel magnet questions

Flywheel magnet on my 89 125 Force is the band type.
Can it loose it's strength over time and cause the engine to miss?
Can this band type magnet be purchased new as a replacement?

What type glue to use when glueing band type magnet in flywheel, did this about three years ago, can't remember what I used!

The magnet won't loose strength. If you reglue be carefull to not use too much glue.Too much glue will cause the magnet to rub on the stator.
It shouldn't make it miss.If it misses just setting there at idle you probably have water in your system.
Any mechanical system that uses fuel should have a water seperating fuel filter installed.They are good insurance and cheap.Change every spring. Jerry
