I have moved into looking at the fuel system to try and run down my problem with the engine sputtering and dieing at more than 3/4 throttle.

First, I checked the pressure the pump was putting out, it's 3 1/2 PSI, and the manual is calling for 5-6 PSI. I checked the filter on the pump, and it's good, and I'm going to be doing a volume test when the weather clears up.

Next is the anti-siphon valve, I plan to run off a remote tank on the water to find out if it's causing a restriction. Where is the anti-siphon valve?? If it is my trouble, how do I fix it?? My manual tells me that I should take it to the dealer to have it fixed.

Anti-siphon valves are usually located on the tank where the fuel hose connects. Often get corroded or stuck or blocked.
