Hey all my buddy just brought me down this motor. He couldn't get it started. I took the carb off and soaked it overnight and then sprayed out all the jets with compressed air. Put it back together and I still couldn't get it to fire. I did however get it started in forward with a little throttle. After I got it running it ran great but when I got it to a certain point where I started backing off the throttle a little it would die. Again I tried starting it in neutral and nothing. As soon as I start it in forward with a little throttle it would fire right back up. Is there any way I could advance the throttle a little in neutral so i could get it started in neutral? There seems to be a plate that only allows a certain amount of throttle while in neutral. My question is if it's just a certain adjustment I need to make or is it actually a fuel delivery problem elsewhere? I can post pics of even a video of my post wasn't specific enough. Thanks all!
