Anti-seize in salt water.
I've found it turns into perma seize.

Use marine grease.
One guy used a mix of grease and anti-seize???

I've found acetone and Marvel Mystery Oil or tranny fluid makes a good penetrating oil.
Try using a heat gun, on the parts, get hot and soak in the fluid.
Repeat a few times, helps get the fluid in to the small places.

Captain, Captain- oh my Captain! I owe you pal!

After 3 days of applying BP Blaster the bolts that wouldn't budge I was able to remove like I had just put them in.

Disassembled the trim cylinder to find that the O-rings were damaged. Rebuilt it with the new O-rings, filled the unit with fluid. The unit (out of water) works perfectly. Test run tomorrow depending on weather.

I can't thank you enough. Please let me buy you and your wife? / girlfriend? dinner (not both LOL). My email is adoptashoreline@gmail.com

All I need is you favorite restaurant location (address, city, state, etc) and I will take care of you.

I contacted the HALO animal shelter to make a donation. The girl asked me which shelter. The Phoenix ,AZ Florida. New Mexico, etc. LOL. Which one is it that you would like me to make the donation to?

Again, can't thank you enough. Please contact me - I'm sincere about buying you dinner.

Mr. G, thank you for the offer and it's much appreciated. Congrats on your successful endeavor and enjoy the rest of the boating season.

On a side note, on your initial post you mentioned you replaced the motor and pump (referred to as valve body). Any idea what you did with the old parts? The original valve body is sure better than new Asian ones. If you decide to rebuild it just go with the sticky post. Of course, the old motor will make a good spare.

Finally, make sure you bleed the system. To do this all you have to do is cycle it all the way up tilted and then come down all the way trimmed down. Watch how the motor comes down. Any jerking or hesitation is an indication of air. Continue to cycle until smooth. But make sure you give the motor a cooling time in between cycles.

For normal usage, after launching the motor should be tilted all the way down (meaning you hear the first "thud" sound when it hits the trim cylinder. As you speed up, then you can trim it down to smoothened the ride (reducing the porpoising or bouncing of the bow). This is the preferred method as it's a lot easier to trim down vice trim up when the motor is pushing against the trim cylinder. Of course, you can also trim up but that requires a lot of force especially at WOT speed.

Thank you again, and enjoy!

OK, will do! Did not receive a email about dinner. I'll check my email later to see if you are accepting my dinner offer. You did forget to tell me which Halo animal shelter I am making a donation to. Please let me know this. I definitely want to make a donation. I love animals and adoptashoreline.com has rescued many animals in the last 12 years. My wife and I have adopted four.

Unfortunately, I would have to pass on the dinner offer. The thank you and posting your final outcome is all that is needed in this forum. As for the animal shelter donation, that is Jerry's request. Scroll back and you'll see where he wants it to go to.

Again, thank you and enjoy.

I donate to the Halo in Sebastian Fl.
But any will do.
If you still have the pump, I can try to rebuild it for you.
Send me a PM
Some cases they just need a couple of washer?

Thanks Jerry but there was never anything wrong with my pump - it was just the trim cylinder. And thanks again Captain. Haven't been out yet due to weather but hoping it is all good now. Thanks again. I appreciate you guys.
